Trade idea that makes sense...trade to New Orleans Deng and Lopez, receive Cousins who is out for the remainder of the season.  New Orleans receives a center to keep playoff hopes alive and Deng whom is still young enough to play and make a difference in the proper system, Lakers receive injured Cousins, assume this years salary, and if he recovers, may sign him next year, in essence allowing them to keep Clarkson and Randle. Add Cousins to existing Lakers young lineup next year and you may not need another free agent to be a top 5 team next year. If a recovered Cousins doesn't sign with Lakers next year, then you have still cleared cap space and move on.

I'd totally jump on that trade, if New Orleans takes it, but I sincerely doubt they will... ;)

So, clearly this did not happen.  What do you think about what did happen?  I am certainly mixed on the idea of getting Isaiah Thomas.  He's a guy who needs the ball and how much will that impact Lonzo Ball?  I think Frye is a good get.
